公共菌根网络(CMNS):概念及其生态学意义

Abstract: To demonstrate significant implications and future directions for addressing movement and cycling of nutrients in terrestrial ecosystems, interplant carbon and nitrogen in particular, the extent, function, and importance of common mycorrhizal networks (CMNs) will be discussed. Approximately 90% higher plants are able to symbiotically associate with 6,000 species of soil mycorrhizal fungi to form beneficial mycorrhizas (fungal roots), which play vital roles in better soil structure, plant nutrition and performance. Moreover, individual species, genera, even families of belowground plant roots could be interconnected by a single mycelium or multi-mycorrhizal mycelia to form CMNs, which provide pathways for exchange or transfer of nutrients/water or even genetic materials from one plant to another. The CMNs are potentially woven into an ever-present larger ‘wood-wide-web' (a cover word was coined by Nature, Vol. 388, 8 Jan 1997) network to facilitate interplant water and nutrient exchange and hence to maintain both plant and fungal biodiversity and ecosystem sustainability.

 

 

 

报告人简介:Xinhua  He1981年西南(农业)大学土壤农业化学农学学士, 2001年澳大利亚昆士兰大学植物生理生态博士, 2002-2007年美国加州大学戴维斯分校与日本东京大学博士后, 2008-2013年澳大利亚西澳大学植物生物学系/地球与环境系研究助理教授/副教授, 2014年澳大利亚新南威尔士州基础产业部高级研究员并兼任悉尼大学副教授, 2015年西南大学资源环境学院教授。主要科研方向为植物氮/碳生理生态、土壤-真菌-植物相互作用、土壤有益微生物和碳氮磷钾积累对环境变化响应与耕地保育及地力提升等, 研究得到中国国家基金委与中央级公益性科研院所基本科研业务费、美国国家基金委与农业部、澳大利亚国家研委会、联邦教科部与谷物研发组织和日本学术振兴会等资助。在菌根真菌促进植物间双向氮素传递、改善土壤团聚体结构、提高土壤碳积累与植物抗逆(盐旱)能力、C3C4作物氮素利用效率等方面获得重要结果, 提出若干标志性新见解。博士毕业后在Agri For Meteorol, Biol Fert Soils, Crit Rev Plant Sci, Glob Biogeochem Cy, Mycorrhiza, New Phytologist, Plant Soil, Sci Reports, SBB, SSAJ, Trends Ecol & Evol, Trends Plant Sci, Tree Physiol等发表英文论文100余篇(https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Xinhua_He3), Am Nat, Annu Rev Ecol Evol System, BioScience, Ecology, Ecol Lett, Nature, New Phytol, Plant J, Plant Physiol, Plant Soil, Science, SBB, SSAJ, Trends Ecol & Evol, Trends Plant Sci等多学科120余种期刊引用1,200余次。
